  1. noticed a message in the newest version about Google Maps API
you could add a possibility to use our own API ID to display Google Maps (for example as a configurable option), that way every user would be charged for their own maps usage by Google (in practice it’s free – I did the same with outdated Adobe Lightroom maps API, works great on my own API ID)

    1. Yes of course, it is possible to use your own key. Then you simply have to copy the map file and the referenced files to your own website. But I think this is too complicated for a lot of users. A lot of users do not want to register their own key, not least because they also have to register with a credit card now etc.

  2. Geosetter, unfortunately, is not working anymore. I have sent numerous crash reports, but the problem persists. I am using Windows 10 Pro.

  3. Unfortuntly the map is no longer working. The map link is down.
I still use this program for the other thimgs. In the mean time I have been using https://www.latlong.net/geo-tools for all my map lockups.
This site has a free to lookup and they also have price plans starting at $3.

  5. GeoSetter, Microsoft Edge, and End of Life for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has EOL in November of 2022. It appears that your map is still using IE as its foundation. I believe that the switch to Microsoft Edge has to happen soonish.
